One location that could be used to do my film is the forest. This is because it is dark and mysterious and would be a good setting for a horror film. It is also somewhere many successful horror films are located. Also many horror films have been set in the woods because the audience may get an uneasy feeling which adds to the fright and excitement. This could be a chance for the audience to expect the unexpected because the audience may think that it is going to be something similar to other horror films but then something completely different happens.
My film could also be held at an abandoned house. This would be good because my film is based on teenagers and this is the type of place that they might like to meet up and socialize with a group of friends. Also this could be where there are remains of peoples bodies that have been dean for many years that have suddenly been uncovered. This may attract the audience because it would be something that would surprise them and they may not expect something like this to happen in the first two minutes of a horror film.
Another possible location that my film could have been set is a hospital. This is because this is where many films have been set and they are all very successful. When people see hospitals they automatically associate it with death or things like operations which are things that all link into a horror film and make it successful. This may suggest to the target audience that this could horrify the target audience as they are not going to know what to expect from the film. This is because a hospital is somewhere that many people dread going and so it would make a good place for a horror film.
